5 Overseas Undergraduate Scholarships That Can Be Registered Before Graduating High School

    


Opportunities to continue studying abroad with full funding to living allowances are increasingly wide open for 12th graders who will study in 2022-2023. There are a number of scholarships that have been opened and will open soon in 2022 that you can register even if you haven't officially received a graduation certificate.

1.    Turkiye Burslari Scholarship

Registration: 10 January 2022 - 20 February 2022

Having a blend of European and Middle Eastern cultures plus a relatively affordable cost of living for students, makes Turkey a target country for international students to continue their studies.

Unlike most scholarships that require applicants to first apply to a university, at the Turkiye Burslari Scholarship 2022, prospective students do not need to submit a separate application to apply to university.

2.    Chinese Government Scholarship

Registration: November 2021-February 2022

One of the most influential countries in the world has full scholarships for international students, including Indonesia, covering tuition fees, accommodation costs, health insurance and a monthly living allowance.

Requirements:
  • Maximum age 25 years for undergraduate level
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Legalized diploma and transcript
  • Study plan
  • Physical examination form
  • Photocopy of passport
  • TOEFL/IELTS certificate

3.    Mitsui Bussan Scholarship

Registration: 17 January 2022 - 18 February 2022

This is the scholarship that Jerome Polin mathematician and youtuber won. This scholarship is the result of a collaboration between the Mitsui & Co.Ltd foundation and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) Indonesia. 

In addition to full funding, this scholarship also provides Japanese language classes for 1.5 years.

Requirements: 
  • Not yet 20 years old on April 1, 2022 
  • Photocopy of ID Card 
  • Recent photograph 
  • Legalized transcript of grades 
  • Recommendation letter from school principal 
  • Letter of parental approval

4.    MEXT Scholarship Embassy Track

Registration: Around March-April 2022

This scholarship to Japan can also be registered by high school students or equivalent. Funded by the Japanese government, the MEXT Scholarship Embassy Track provides a one-year mentoring class to study Japanese and equivalent materials before starting university.

Requirements: 

  • Compulsory math and English grades 4-5 semesters of at least 84 
  • Recent photograph 
  • Legalized diploma or temporary graduation certificate 
  • Legalized transcript of grades 
  • Recommendation letter from school principal or teacher

5.    Romanian Government Scholarship

Registration: 20 December 2021 - 15 March 2022

Romania is a country that has managed to preserve its history, culture and natural wealth to the point of having 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites. 

Another interesting thing about Romania is that the cost of living is relatively affordable compared to other European countries in general.
